How to run a Super Bowl squares pool
1. Sell the squares
Each player writes a name or initials in the squares they buy. A pool usually fills all 100 before kickoff.
2. Draw the numbers
Draw 0 to 9 at random for the column team and again for the row team, or print the sheet with the numbers already shuffled.
3. Check every quarter
After each quarter, take the last digit of each team's score. Where the two digits meet is the winning square.
4. Pay out
Write the amounts in the payout box before the game. A common split is 20% for each of the first three quarters and 40% for the final.

How do Super Bowl squares work?
Players buy squares on a 10x10 grid and write their names in them. One team is assigned to the columns and the other to the rows, and each gets the digits 0 to 9 in a random order. At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team's score points to one square, and its owner wins that quarter's payout.
Should I draw the numbers before or after the squares are sold?
After. Most pools sell every square first and then draw the numbers, so nobody can pick a square for its digits. Choose blank numbers to draw them yourself, or pre-filled numbers if you prefer a sheet that is ready to go.
Are the pre-filled numbers random?
Yes. Each download shuffles 0 to 9 for the columns and again for the rows, and prints a sheet code. The same code always prints the same numbers, so you can reprint a lost sheet.
How should we split the payouts?
