Google Calendar is disconnected

Reconnect Google Calendar when Sync2Cal no longer has access. Check the account, finish authorization, and verify an event rather than repeatedly disconnecting.

If Sync2Cal shows Google Calendar as disconnected, it cannot currently use that account connection to deliver updates. Reconnect the intended Google account, then check a specific calendar and event.

Reconnect the account

Open your Sync2Cal account settings, find the Google Calendar integration, and choose Connect. Complete Google's authorization prompts using the account where you want the events.

After returning to Sync2Cal, check the integration status. Open an affected calendar and use Resync if needed, then check the event in Google Calendar on the web. A successful sign-in is not by itself confirmation that every calendar has finished syncing.

Why can access stop working?

Access may have been revoked, a token may no longer be usable, or an account policy may prevent authorization. If Google shows a permissions or organization-policy error, note the exact wording. Repeatedly signing in cannot guarantee that a policy restriction is resolved.

If the account already says connected

Use missing-events troubleshooting before disconnecting. Disconnecting in Sync2Cal requests removal of its managed Google calendars and affects other subscriptions using the integration.

For a connection that still fails, email hello@sync2cal.com with the error wording, the affected calendar page, and whether authorization completed. Do not send authorization codes or passwords.

Frequently asked questions

Does reconnecting always fix missing events?⌄

No. Missing events can also result from hidden calendars, another account, paused access, source data, or delivery errors. Verify the connection and then check an actual event.

Does an ICS subscription require this Google account connection?⌄

No. A Google ICS subscription fetches its link independently. If that is how you added the calendar, use the update-timing guide rather than reconnecting an unused integration.
