How to add a Sync2Cal calendar to Fantastical
Subscribe to a Sync2Cal calendar in Fantastical on iPhone or iPad, then check the calendar and an event.
Before you start
These instructions are for Fantastical on iPhone or iPad. If you use Mac or Windows, use the matching Flexibits guide instead of assuming the phone menus are the same.
Copy the subscription link
In Sync2Cal, choose Other calendar apps and copy the calendar link. Keep this subscription link private. If you already added the calendar, check your existing subscription before adding a duplicate.
Add it in Fantastical
Open Fantastical Settings, then Calendars & Lists. Tap + and choose Add Subscription. Paste your Sync2Cal calendar link to add the subscription.
Check an event
Confirm the calendar is listed and visible in Fantastical. Compare a specific upcoming event from the Sync2Cal calendar page with the same date in Fantastical. Saving the subscription does not establish that an event is visible.
If you cannot find the option
Confirm your device and app version. Use the official Flexibits instructions for your device, or return to Sync2Cal setup help. Tell the assistant the exact app and screen you see. Do not switch to a different calendar service unless you intend to.
If events are missing
Keep the existing subscription. Check that the calendar is enabled in Fantastical and compare the event date. Report whether the calendar is absent or it is listed without events. Do not repeatedly add the same link or assume an exact refresh delay.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a computer?⌄
Not for the documented Fantastical iPhone or iPad route. The computer requirement for adding a URL in Google Calendar does not apply to these Fantastical menus.
Do I need to add this through Google Calendar first?⌄
The documented Fantastical route accepts a calendar URL directly. Adding it to Google does not by itself establish that it appears in Fantastical.
What if I use Mac or Windows?⌄
Choose the matching Flexibits help guide for your device. This article documents the iPhone and iPad route only.
