Can I show my calendars in more than one Google account?

Sync2Cal connects to one Google account at a time. To see the same calendars in a second Google account, add the calendar link there or share the calendar from your connected account.

Yes, you can see your Sync2Cal calendars in more than one Google account. Your Sync2Cal account connects to one Google account at a time. To show the same calendars in a second account, such as a work account, use one of the two options below.

How the Google connection works

When you choose Sync to Calendar and pick Google Calendar, you sign in to one Google account. Sync2Cal creates a separate calendar there for each schedule you sync. Its name ends in [Sync2Cal]. Sync2Cal keeps that calendar up to date. See how Google Calendar sync works.

Connecting a different Google account replaces the first one. It does not add a second connection.

Option 1: add the calendar link to the second account

Each calendar you sync has its own calendar link. You can add that link to any Google account.

  1. On Sync2Cal, open the calendar's page.
  2. Open the Synced menu and choose Show calendar link.
  3. Click Copy to copy the calendar URL.
  4. Open Google Calendar on a computer and sign in to the second account.
  5. Next to Other calendars, click the plus sign and choose From URL.
  6. Paste the link and click Add calendar.

Repeat this for each calendar you want in the second account. Using the link this way does not add a new calendar to your Sync2Cal account.

Google decides when to check a calendar added by URL. Updates can take hours to show up in the second account. Your connected account still gets updates directly. See how often calendars update.

Keep your calendar link private. Anyone with the link can see that calendar.

Option 2: share the calendar from your connected account

You can share the Sync2Cal calendar from your connected Google account with your other account.

  1. Open Google Calendar on a computer, signed in to the connected account.
  2. Open Settings and select the Sync2Cal calendar under your calendars.
  3. Under Share with specific people, add the email address of your other account.
  4. Open the invitation in the other account and add the calendar.

Both accounts then see the same calendar. Updates that Sync2Cal sends to your connected account appear in both.

Things to know

  • If you disconnect Google Calendar in Sync2Cal, its Sync2Cal calendars are removed from your connected account. A shared copy goes away with them.
  • If you remove a calendar in My Calendars, it stops for every account that uses it, including any account using its link. See removing a calendar.
  • Use one method per Google account. Adding the link to the account that is already connected will show every event twice. See duplicate events.
  • If your work account is managed by your company, your admin may limit calendar sharing or adding calendars by URL.
  • The link and the connection both depend on your Sync2Cal plan. See Free versus Pro.

For the difference between the ways to add a calendar, see importing, subscribing, or syncing. To find a calendar's link later, see managing all your syncs.
