How to add a calendar to Apple Calendar

Choose Apple Calendar in Sync2Cal's sync flow and confirm the subscription in Apple Calendar. Use a calendar subscription, rather than importing a downloaded file, if you want future changes.

Start on Sync2Cal

Find the calendar you want, open its page, and select Sync to Calendar. Choose Apple Calendar and follow the calendar-link prompts. Your Sync2Cal plan determines access; adding the feed through another app does not bypass it.

On iPhone or iPad

If the link opens a subscription prompt, review the calendar name and confirm it. If you need to enter the link manually, open Calendar > Calendars > Add Calendar > Add Subscription Calendar and paste the link from Sync2Cal.

On iOS 26 or later, the next step is Find; older versions may say Subscribe. Choose iCloud under Account if you want the calendar across your Apple devices, then finish adding it. Keep the feed URL private.

On Mac

Open Calendar and choose File > New Calendar Subscription. Paste the calendar link and choose Subscribe. Select iCloud as Location for access across Apple devices, review the refresh options, and confirm.

Check the result

Select the calendar in Apple's Calendars list and look for a known upcoming event. Initial loading and later updates depend on the app and subscription settings, rather than a fixed hourly guarantee.

If events are absent, use Apple troubleshooting. If only one device is missing them, use the device checklist. If you accidentally imported or added the calendar twice, use duplicate events.
