How to report a missing event or incorrect calendar detail

Send the public Sync2Cal calendar page, the affected event, the expected details, and an official source so we can investigate a missing or incorrect event.

Email hello@sync2cal.com with the public Sync2Cal calendar page, the affected event, and an official source showing the correct details. A specific example helps us distinguish a schedule-data problem from a delivery problem.

First check where the mismatch appears

Open the public Sync2Cal calendar page and find the event. If it is correct there but missing in your calendar app, include that distinction in your report and use the relevant troubleshooting guide: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.

If it is missing or incorrect on Sync2Cal itself, compare the source and calendar scope. A team calendar for one competition may not include every match the team plays.

Include these details

  • Public Sync2Cal calendar URL and calendar name.
  • Event name and date, including the year.
  • What you currently see and what you expected to see.
  • The correct time and its timezone, if the issue involves timing.
  • An official schedule or announcement link supporting the correction.
  • Your calendar app and whether you connected an account, subscribed by link, or imported a file.

For example: 'The Example Team calendar is missing Example Team vs Example United on October 12, 2026. The official schedule lists 19:30 Europe/London. Here are the Sync2Cal page and official schedule links. The event is also missing from the Sync2Cal page, not only my Google Calendar.'

Screenshots and account details

A screenshot can help show a duplicate, an error, or the timezone displayed in your app. Crop unrelated personal appointments and account information. If we need to investigate your subscription, include the email address used for your Sync2Cal account in your private support email.

Do not post private calendar subscription URLs, passwords, authorization codes, or payment-card details. A public calendar page is enough to identify the schedule.

What happens next?

We compare the report with the source and investigate the calendar or connection involved. A correction may need to be made at the source before it can reach your app. Reporting a problem does not guarantee an immediate fix or a particular delivery time.

For a schedule we do not yet offer, use requesting a new calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Should I send my private ICS subscription URL?

No. Send the public Sync2Cal calendar page. Keep private subscription URLs and sign-in credentials out of reports.

What if Sync2Cal is correct but my calendar is wrong?

Say that explicitly and include the app, connection method, and one affected event. That points the investigation toward delivery or visibility rather than source data.
